  1. Wow, I recently went to Pakistan for 3 weeks after 12 years and your post said everything I wanted to say but couldn’t figure out how to say. I don’t even feel like I have to write what I wanted to say anymore because you’ve captured it so beautifully, right down to the white washed, self-hating Pakistani, I once was and kind of still am. Just today I was telling my mom how I wished we could be there for Eid with those meddling relatives I love to hate. Thanks for writing this, it’s always nice to be reminded that there are others out there feeling just like you.

  2. I love Pakistan too because there we dont deal with so many christians or jews and when they are there they dont put their faith in your face they actually try to stay private. It is a country where Muslims can be proud and islam is protected.
